mike.. get well soon.. hoping for a full recovery for you
to Carnesie.. i disagree that we have one thread for get well wishes.. there are not enough of these posted where we need a master thread.. it seems to diminish the get well wishes..
I want to see the Get well name (FT Name I mean) in the thread title.. you never know when it might be someone in the FT community a little closer to you than others and you may not know.. this thread I may not open till I have a little more free time.. personally I will start a new thread if I (knock on wood that I don't) ever have to start one of these threads..

Yeah, me too. Get well soon and you will get fully recoverable anytime soon. I am so worried about him and he should have to stay at home for awhile. He need to get on his own exercise at home. Do yourself to take a walk around the neighborhood. He need to get feeling better. It should try to get stronger recovery after suffered his heart attacks. I don't believe it what is specific time for him.

I go under the knife today around noon. Will post an update in 2-3 days once they let me out of the hospital. I will try to steal a nurse's cell phone to logon sooner than that.

I strongly second TrojanHorse's thoughts below. Same as TH, I would want something obvious so I'd know if someone I cared about/knew was hurt. Buried in the thread as it could be, you could totally miss who was sick. This is not I cut my finger stuff, but larger "get wells" going out. More importantly, people aren't going to keep opening this thread up when someone posts to it, as they will assume it's the same person receiving wishes, and quickly get tired of seeing get well wishes (or assume those are get well wishes) and thereby miss that someone they cared about was ill. I would guess that SS255 whose post I also included below wouldn't even think that more than 1 FT'er is included in this speedy recovery thread and therefore is likely unaware that there is more than 1 FT'er in the hospital, ill, undergoing surgery, etc at this time.

Spoke to Mrp Alerts dad earlier today and all went well. He will be in the hospital for 3 days and then will get to go home (assuming no complications from this point forward). A few minutes ago, my cell rang, and it was Mrp Alert! So, I guess he is doing fine!!! Sounded a bit groggy, and said the pain is definately there, but overall doing great!
I will keep everyone posted!
