Desperate to contact BA by email!!

I have tried for 6 weeks to submit an email online on the BA website but its not working. When I press Submit, it simply asks me to sign up for a new account. Then it tells me I am already registered, and throws me back to the previous page. Why oh why is it so darn difficult to contact them. I live in darkest Africa out in the bush, and therefore unable to phone or fax them.

I propose flying from Nairobi to Jersey via London on BA64 on 22nd October 2009 (TOMORROW) with British Airways with 2 or 3 suitcases. Last year, when I travelled the same route with Kenya Airways , a member of BA staff told me that, if I travelled all the way through from Nairobi to Jersey with BA, then I did NOT have to pay for any excess baggage charges on the Jersey flights, i.e. that all 3 suitcases would go free of charge.

I would just like clarification that this is indeed the case but am really frustrated because I cant find this information anywhere Also, can I now check in my suitcases in Jersey and retrieve them in Nairobi, or do I have to collect them myself in London. I have an ankle and heel problem, and this procedure would be a great help to me.

I am very loathe to simply pay these excessive baggage charges online because this is what I did in 2007 where I was charged DOUBLE for this facility, and have STILL not had my refund for excess charges from two years back, despite writing to them dozens of times!!

I am a new Member here, and am posting this in utter desperation and frustration in the hope that someone sees this message at BA and can help me please.

Your question is already being dealt with in the thread you started in the BA forum. As a newbie, you're probably unaware that cross posting the same question in multiple forums in a no-no here on FT.

Welcome anyway!
