I completed my 3rd stay Saturday, 5 days ago. I don't want to rattle the Choice cage prematurely.
As I recall, Choice bonuses usually post faster than this. Thanks.

I got my first bonus along with the stay posting. The second bonus took a few days after the stay posted. I don't know why.
I wouldn't worry about it until a week or so has gone by with no bonus.

I noticed that also
My third stay was also last sat night in Honolulu and the hotel points posted very quick but no bonus as of yet. I will give it until next week. By the way the Clarion Hotels in Hawaii are a "PxxxHole" motel 6 would have been better.

(Unlike previous rounds, this is a requirement for this 16k bonus, even though it's not a requirement for normal points.)

The only possible problem is that I did not physically stay the first night (I had to cancel my trip late and the night was charged to my Choice CC), but I emailed and they seem to have converted it to a normal stay (it looks exactly like all the others online).
We didn't have to register or something, did we?
If I have to make another stay at the Sleep Inn down the road, I guess I will.

Within 72 hours
I have received four 16K bonuses to date and all took 72 hours or less to post. The biggest catch is did you use the authorized phone number or website to reserve your room? Walk-ins do not qualify. My first and second stay show the actual points earned and included my gold point bonus. The third stay showed the third stay plus the difference to make 16,000 points--however you still get your gold points (or perhaps platinum points) in addition to the 16K. I hope that makes sense. I think you should email Choice and find out if there was an error with your reservation. Good luck!

Looks like they added the difference for me than deleted ALL the points from my three stays. That leaves me with 14710 points for the 3 stays instead of 16000 points.
Well, on closer examination, somehow I do have 16k more points, but online it does only show a total of 14710 points for the 3 stays (0+0+0+14710 should equal 14710, but somehow it equals 16000.)

I emailed Choice customer service and within 2 days (after a clueless email back to me), I got the bonus points.
Now to
1. Burn them
2. Tell them why I am abandoning Choice for treating me like crap.

If I had an account issue fixed by a corporation that quickly I'd jump for joy.

I'm having the same problem: stayed 3 times but still waiting for the 16,000 top-off bonus points. The regular points for the last stay on 8/7/08 posted on 8/8/08, and all reservations were made through the Choice web site. Guess I'll send them an e-mail.
