Sleep Inn
I just spent a night at the Sleep Inn in New Orleans. I gave them my AA # to get miles instead of hotel points. Does anyone know about how long it should take to get the miles. (Also, of lesser importance, anyone know about how many points I should expect. The room rate was $65, which was $77 after tax.) thx tls

Couldn't tell you how long it takes for the miles to post. I've always taken the points. Choice Priveleges gives you 10 points per dollar spent, so you would have gotten 650 points for a $65 stay. Since you opted for miles you would typically receive 250. They are running a triple miles promo through 4/30/03, so you should end up with 750 this time around.

Well, that was similar to my experience when I stayed at a Sleep Inn last Oct. I had to call after a month or so to get my miles. And then only 250 posted, not the triple miles that were advertised. However, eventually I did get my 750 miles. Hopefully this time as well. tls
