All I can tell you is that (a) in my case I've been waiting two full months now for my mileage credits to post (in this case to Southwest) since I started using a Choice hotel (in my cast a Comfort Suites) for mileage, and I've yet to see a single posting; and (b) I haven't heard from anyone yet who's gotten an automatic posting of mileage (only from people who converted points to miles). So be happy if it goes quicker, but don't expect it...
