Pros:
- Nice view of tarmac
- Open room, high ceiling
- Good location near security check
- Bedrooms available (4-5 rooms)
- 5-10 public PCs
Cons:
- No Wifi
- Staff seem busy (had to wait 5 minutes for internet cable)
- Had to show my BP/*G card to 4 different people at 3 different counters before i could enter lounge
- Small food selection (dinner area only open from 17.00-19.00)
- Bathrooms very dirty (garbage bins overflowing with paper towels)
- Not all seats have internet connections (especially in the back)
- No garbage bins in the seating area
- The day i was there the room temperature was quite high (could be a coincidence)

2 questions:
After arriving at T3 (SHA-PEK), is it possible to use the airside domestic CA lounge to wait for a friend on a later flight?
Any idea when or if NWA will move to T3?

I can answer this question accurately because I happen to know NW's country manager for China. The answer is that they have no plans on moving to T3 because, among other reasons, they like the idea of being at T2 in both PEK and PVG.

Time required when transiting in T3 (domestic to int'l)
I have 3 questions re T3.
I will be making a connection in PEK, with almost 2.5 hours to spare. Arriving on Air China domestic flight, transiting to Air Canada to Vancouver. My understanding is my Air China flight arrives at T3C, and Air Canada departs at T3E. from a map that I dug up at JAL's web site (can't seem to find anything better from anywhere else), it shows TC3 to TCE are connected via a "shuttle".
http://www.jal.co.jp/en/other/info2008_0303.html
Questions:
1. Do I have enough time to make the above transit (assume I have checked bags)?
2. From map on that link, is "shuttle" a bus or train? Please elaborate on its frequency and time to complete journey from T3C to T3E?
3. Side question re arrival on LH from NRT: are there ATMs in T3E arrival hall that accept foreign credit/debit cards. Which banks are there?
TIA
