Beijing Hotel recommendation

I’m after a recommendation for a hotel in Beijing for an upcoming stay in mid November (traveling under 72 hour TWOV).

Scheduled arrival at PEK is 1025 on the 13th from LHR, departure to HKG at 0305 on the 15th.

Looking for somewhere near a subway station, preferably with a guest coin laundry (have day stops in London and Dubai prior to the stay in Beijing and a another day stop in Hong Kong after, will likely need to do some washing). Around 100AUD/night (~518CNY) preferred.

Would it be better to book for 1 night and get a late check out, or book for 2 nights and leave ‘early’ and check out late night 14th?

What is transport to the airport like late at night?

For a 3am flight you'll have to take a taxi.

The only hotels I know of that have self-service laundry room (tokens available at front desk) are the Holiday Inn Express chain. Holiday Inn Express Dongzhimen might fit the bill....it is about 15 minute walk from the Dongzhimen subway/Transport hub though. Another option is to book the hotel you want on the central or near northeast side, and use this company, started by an American fed up with overpriced hotel and overpriced/slow Chinese chains: https://www.laundrytown.com/laundry-beijing/

Looks like that hotel is about 1km from the station. Normally about a 7 min walk for me.
That might be the best option. The other hotels I've spotted with the amenities I'm looking for appear to be far outside the city or a longer distance from subway stations.

Do you think it's better to book 1 night, or book 2 and check out at around midnight on the 2nd night before getting a taxi to the airport for 3am flight?

I personally would book 2 nights if the cost isn't a problem, even though the 2nd night is a short one. It's just much better to have a private place to do final packing, rest and shower before leaving for the airport (taxi) around 00:30 a.m. I've stayed at the HIX Dongzhimen and it's a pleasant place in a great neighborhood for walking, restaurants, etc.
