Glad you chose Fedex. That is the correct decision.
A friend in the same situation had his card stolen from its package (handled by China Post). Funny thing is that everything else in the package made it. Luckily the card had not yet been activated.

My bet would be that the home country Post Office where he sent it from is the more likely culprit for the theft than China Post, but I'd still trust either of those entities less than FedEx, DHL, etc.

Good call on using Fed Ex. I'm an Expat living in China for the past two years and have had my US mail delivered to me via DHL. Never had an issue. Avoid the mail system, IMO.

Question: Where in China can this be done?
(And seconded on not using China Post- one time when I lost my wallet it took less than a week to get all my cards replaced- except for a Barclaycard because they sent it by regular mail. Thankfully, the card wasn't stolen from the envelope because they had also pre-activated it.)
