I deleted my OP because I felt it was overly mean and threatening (i.e. I was prepared to unleash my weibo team on them... they can be cruel bunch when properly motivated). I still don't feel that those have any business playing around in the China market, but let's permit them to try their best (as an American, it's my patriotic duty to support American companies).

What really made my day (and got me thinking) was that a random Chinese guy in a closet sized stall was able to fix my phone within 30 minutes for y30. Motorola should be hiring people like him... as should I. If those guys had the means to send me to his shop and reimburse him for the y30, I'd believe in their customer service 100%. They would have also saved about $50 in the process (i.e. my phone time with their call center people).
