yes. that was my point.

And Spiff is wrong. Spiff's position on the TSA makes him sound like Andrea Dworkin in some respects.

The rest of your post I don't really care about, or want to address, other than to say that I think you exaggerate alot on these forums in an effort to stake your position.

And that government agents stand at public pools ordering us to disrobe and feeling parts of our bodies through our clothes? I had my breasts touched as part of this charade earlier today, and I am angry. Angry, angry, angry. Government agents get to molest me on a regular basis, and you're comparing that to a trip to a pool.

I got a message for all of you whining crybaby screeners:

You don't like our opinion of you and your joke of an agency, then get off of workfare and get a REAL job.
If you don't understand how that's one member being completely uncivilized to another, I don't know what to say.

I believe that you think you can say whatever you want to new members because this forum is unmoderated. If your post was directed to new FA members in an airline forum, your post would probably be deleted for good cause.

CameraGuy, this isn't your house. You have no right to chase new members away.

I think that's pretty harsh. Claiming that I exaggerate on matters of fact is awfully close to calling me a liar. Don't you see these things happening at the checkpoint? If you don't see women having their breasts touched, or men being asked to unbuckle their pants, you're just not paying attention. It's just plain shameful to force the traveling public to submit to these indignities.

As to Spiff's point, shoes are part of our clothing, and the line of appropriateness in being asked to remove clothing is just a matter of degree. The TSA is pushing that line as much as possible and crosses it regularly, in my opinion. I personally am much more offended at being asked to remove my other clothing than my shoes, but all orders to remove clothing are invitations to abuse and shouldn't be permitted.

I'm sure others also find the up-to-date info on conditions on the ground at checkpoints useful.

There are some of us who would gladly give any info you want up to ssi info (we get fired for that) but sarcasim will get you nothing but resistance...and defensive measures on our jobs...

This has nothing to do with moderated vs unmoderated. My comments are WELL within the TOS. I have attacked nobody.

New member or not, there are quite a few TSA apologists here who constantly critisize our points of view regarding their workfare agency. I myself, am quite tired of their holier than thou attitude. If they don't like my opinion of their job or their workfare agency, tough. This is a free country, they are more than welcome to get real jobs.

Of course you have. If someone else wrote what you did, you'd cry BLUE MURDER

I don't necessarily disagree with your general posture on the TSA. However, I find your attempts to intimidate and incite new members to be inappropriate, and completely uncivilized. Normal people do not act in that fashion.

CameraGuy Jun 11, 2004 8:05 am

Please, cite one instance of me screaming "Blue Murder". I think you have me confused with someone else. I have been attacked many, many times and do not cry, or scream.

As for your opinion of my posts, you are wrong. I am not trying to intimdate or drive off anyone. Actually, intimidation is what these TSA apologists are trying to accomplish.

I stand by me assertion that I have not violated the TOS.

If you dont want your breasts touched why do you keep wearing a bra with an underwire to the airport. You know very well by now that the metal will set off the hand wand.

I have never seen any of my screeners ask anyone to unbuckle their pants. There is a big difference between unbuckling pants as you say and unbuckling a belt. Anyone whom decides to remove their pants in public view will be finding alternate transportation that day.

Most problems that the people on this board complain about would easily be prevented if they dressed for the occasion. Only an idiot or a non flyer doesnt know what to wear to the airport to avoid delay.

CameraGuy Jun 12, 2004 5:01 am

So, since the TSA is run by idiots, we the TAXPAYERS, should dress differently?

Mind boggling.

You are asking me to justify my choice of underwear. Doesn't it seem like there's something that has gone very wrong here?

Okay, here are the reasons women wear underwire:

1. women with large breasts need underwire to keep their breasts from moving around uncomfortably whenever they move.

2. underwire gives a better shape under clothing

3. without underwire some women get chafing

4. why should I have to change my underwear in order to avoid having my breasts handled by strangers?!?!?

Provide a solution instead of complaining. How do you suggest we determine it is an underwire and not a small handgun. If you know of a way to be sure that it is only an underwire and not other metal please enlighten us, otherwise your complaints are meaningless whining.

CameraGuy Jun 12, 2004 8:18 am

"meaningless whining"

Typical Government Hack-Speak.

If your training is not sufficient that you cannot tell the difference between an underwire bra and a handgun, then your agency is a bigger waste than I thought.

Typical response from someone with no solution just complaining.

You still have not told us how to see what is there. It comes to we either have to see what the item is, or pat it down to know what it is. If you are as intelligent as you think then give a solution instead of your nonsense.

I wont be holding my breath waiting for an intelligent response from you.
