I'm left with the impression he was sitting in an aisle seat near the front.

It gives new meaning to the term "secondary inspection." Maybe his lawyer is working on that approach already.
Or new meaning to the term 'undercover surveillance'.

What happens in the event charges are dismissed? Will TSA have to walk back any actions it may have actually taken? Publicly retract the statement it made based on assumed, but not verified in a court, guilt?
(Pure speculation ahead ...)

The article(s) being cited here state that the FAM admitted that he committed the acts. With a confession on record, there may not be any way for the FAM to contest the personnel action.

This disgusts me. Victimizing people isn't amusing.

It's SOP every time someone passes thru a TSA checkpoint.

I agree; there is nothing amusing about TSA or the crimes it commits.

Contesting disciplinary action is still possible; and the more drastic the action, the better the odds for the FAM.

True...unlike the checkpoint, it was strictly a hands-off surveillance.

A guy who works for an arm of the Federal government that takes nood pictures of people, makes little old ladies take off their diapers, and runs their hands up into the 'resistance' is caught with his camera under someone's clothing in a personal photo scavenger hunt??

Wow, that is shocking.

"I am shocked -- shocked -- to find that DHS/TSA screening is going on in [t]here!"

Excellent point. Business as usual for DHS/TSA personnel.

Given DHS/TSA culture, "I am shocked -- shocked -- to find [this] going on...!".

This is gross on so many levels.

Do you really want to see what's up the skirt on WN passengers from Tennessee? (And yes, I'm a WN passenger, too!)

This guy has exactly the kind of mentality we were guaranteed would never be sitting in the BSX booths (a TSA screener disputed that on his blog).

I can't imagine what kind of photo he could have gotten under the circumstances that would compare with readily available porn - or even the latest Kardashian or pop star photos. The 'quality' just wasn't going to be there.

It's like the NoS booth - it's not specifically the quality and revealing nature of the image, it's the nasty, sneaky peeping-tom violation of someone's privacy, a dirty eye at the peephole, that drives both this and the jokes in the BSX (now gone) booths.

Rey Collazo, American Hero

Here's his story....

A passenger boarding a flight at Nashville International Airport caught a federal air marshal allegedly using his cellphone to take photographs underneath womens skirts as they boarded a plane, WKRN-TV reported.

"I just reached over with my left hand and grabbed it," Rey Collazo, the passenger, told the station. I "struggled with him a little bit and I got the better part of the phone and twisted and hit him with my right hand between the neck and the shoulder. Shoved him back and I took the phone."
Well done, sir.

The more I read about this incident, the more surprised I am that this Rey fellow did not get shot.
