Birmingham BHX Security/Officials
Has anyone noticed security in BHX wearing badges around their necks with chains? I started seeing a lot of these officials recently but have no idea what they are.
Probably 10-15 of them in the airside area and today after arrivals immigration.
The badge looked kind of American to me, but it was too small to make out what it actually was. Super curious what they do / are.

Yesterday at MAF (tiny little airport) I saw 4 people in white dress shirts wearing lanyards and badges "assisting/observing" the TSA screeners. Oddly, none of them accompanied the screener patting me down when I opted out. I've never seen this and thought it a little strange.
