Bombs and terrorists on your next flight?

Greetings all, I've been reading the many posts/threads about Matthew being kicked of the UA flight for the inboard photo/saying 'terrorist' incident and a thought snuck into my mind.

The words 'bomb' and 'terrorist' and even '......', are said on planes every day without consequence - and certainly without posing any type of security risk to the plane or passengers.

Inflight movies.

Let's face it honestly, 9/11 has been used as a brilliant excuse to impose a police state. If you disagree/argue with ANYONE with authority in an airport setting all they have to do to a) shut you down completely or b) have you removed in handcuffs is play the 9/11/security/safety card.

A T-shirt with the T-word on it, or the picture of a gun on it, or a political statement on it is NOT a threat - so when someone claims it is a threat? It's nothing but a blatant power trip. We ALL know this.

I think we need to start fighting back against this security theatre somehow - and I think an appropriate method might be by getting into the theatre business ourselves... The theatre of the absurd.

I think we should INSIST that the words 'bomb' and 'terrorist' and other offensive words should be banned from the travel system entirely. That means the following.

No books at all - they could contain these words and these words frighten me.
No movies at all - they contain images of weapons AND words and might give people ideas
No cell phones - the texts therein could contain these words or allow the words to be communicated
No computers - they can store both books AND movies AND allow communications
No newspapers or magazines - they are always reporting on terrorist attack and that gives me a sad.

In fact, no one who has ever read a book, seen a movie, or heard these words should be allowed in an airport - after all ? These words are magic and scary and they frighten little children and adults who are afraid of the dark and sudden loud noises.

We need to find an acceptable way to fight back against the sorry state we find ourselves in. If reason doesn't work any more - then perhaps blatant and obvious ridicule might.
