TSA in PHX back in June 2008

Hi All,

Can we have a review during this incident. I could not understand what happened to me since I dismissed from my old job at Sky Harbor. I could not understand what is the specific rules from TSA. I remember what happened to me that I did not take off the shoes. I wasn't sure why I left from my old job. I am already went to my rehab counselors last year and we were talking about me and TSA, too. Why I am no longer work at Sky Harbor. I did not assaulted witih the screener but, I actually that I physically pushed her at checkpoint. I remember that I went through the metal detector. I did not arguing her and I am not have a aggressive from her. I could not understand what she say something to me. I remember TSA manager Jack & supervisor came by see me and I explained to them that I could not understand it. I remember when the entire concourse is almost shutdown. I am really lucky that I didn't get arrested for that and I am accepted apologizes for my behavior at airport back in June 2008.

Regards

You don't know why you left your old job? Should we know?

Pushing someone without their consent would usually be called assault.

Yes, because I left from my job. Yes, you can tell me all about it.

Scotty, you touched a screener (pushed her). You can't do that. No one can do that. You were lucky you didn't get arrested. If you even touch a screener with a fingertip, or if the screener bumps into you, they can still call that 'assault'.

I'm not saying the screener didn't over-react. I know most TSOs assume that if a person has hearing difficulties, they just have to shout louder, but PHX has a history of TSOs with particularly aggressive, confrontational attitudes - and PHX's FSDs are never willing to address the problems.

At PHX, TSA is always 'right' and pax are always wrong. It shouldn't be that way, but it is.

To other posters: OP is using ASL (?) and it doesn't always translate as well as clearly as it should.

I don't know AZ. law but if you pushed her that's most likely battery. With that said since you've completed rehab & time has past see if you can set up a meeting with the airport badgeing authority & TSA if needs be & see if they will let you get a SIDA badge. It's up to the airport.

Good luck I hope you get your job back.

I thought he was working at a supermarket. I do wonder why his rehab counselor wouldn't have described the process to him to get such ID back.

As far as I know he was working at one of the places at Sky Harbor behind the checkpoints. They all require a SIDA badge. It's up to the airport to issue the badge. No SIDA no work end of story.

Yes, of course I am. I am already accepted a new job at Albertsons and I won't go back to Sky Harbor for a while.

You'd have to pay me double to go through TSA security every day.

These guys review complex things for a living and they still can't figure out what point you're trying to convey here.

I'm in no way trolling here or attacking the OP, I'm just lost as to how pushing/touching a TSA official relates to a checkpoint/policy debate. Are you suggesting that the TSA in PHX institute some sort of amnesty policy? Touching anybody is a no-no in any job, and screwing with the TSA in an airport is an even worse idea.
