If the moat dragon doesn't force you into the NOS and you can self-select the WTMD, you won't get a patdown unless you are "randomly-selected."

I know many TSOs don't like doing the patdowns, but even when the WTMD is eliminated, there will still be 'involuntary medical patdowns' - folks who are incapable, for whatever reason, of assuming and holding the position long enough to get a clear NoS scope.
Some of us are capable of using the WTMD (balance issues, palsy, unable to raise and hold arms over the head (John McCain), ostomy bags - when the WTMD isn't an option, we're all going to be subjected to the grope.

If they want to go to 100% Nude-O-Scope - well, they're going to be doomed to disappointment, as noted. There will *ALWAYS* be people physically-incapable of properly assuming the surrender position, and others who WILL not do so. Team Sexual Assault will have to do the perp-frisk s anyways, so they might as well get used to it.
Or else go get a REAL job, where they don't have to sexually-assault people for daring to want to fly to Grandma's house.

Id prefer to be screened by milimeter-wave with auto-recognition (ie where there are no naked pictures) over WTMD anyday. The magnetic field the WTMD is pretty wicked and can cause serious issues for some internal and external cardiac devices.
Backscatter on the other hand...oh helllllll no. Why they still operate Backscatter units im not sure, i think its obvious its going to come out that they are unsafe sooner or later.
