Under the list of trips you can click on "See what's eligible" for Price Match Guarantee and the below screenshots is what you see:

So I wonder how many price matches they will actually end up granting based on these terms.

Right. Essentially, as with pretty much all price-match policies, everything needs to be the same. While the 'all hotel details are the same' doesn't specifically mention the type of benefits edit includes (credit, free breakfast, etc.), I suspect the term is intended to take into account those differences, and they could very well respond with 'your edit booking includes things the direct site does not'. YMMV, I guess.

That said, it may be a play for more 'regular' bookings on the portal. Given we've seen many examples of CT charging more for regular rooms than booking direct, this could help convince some users - they get the benefit of extra points on the booking plus the same price the hotel is charging.

Assuming the $150 is really a $250 = $1493 vs $1510 - if you can pay the remaining $1493 with 2x points boost (74,650 points) maybe is not as bad a deal?
If not using boosted points I would skip The Edit for this trip and use those credits some other time this year.
International there seems to be better deals than Domestic.

That would be another factor. Given the [overall] devaluation of use of UR direct in the portal, if you find a good points boost option, probably worth the consideration, espcially if you'd rather not be out the $. YMMV, of course.

Hi everyone! Apologies if this was asked previously; I searched through the threads since Jan 1 and couldn't find a direct answer.

With the $100 off $600 Chase Travel offer, is it correct to say that if I find an IHG hotel on the Edit for $600 for 2 nights, I can stack (1) the $250 Edit credit, (2) the $250 IHG hotel credit, and (3) the $100 Chase offer? Does anyone have DP or success with this?

Could someone also help explain whether this is stackable with the $500 new CSR card opening bonus, or is that a credit in the Chase portal and not a statement credit?

The offer is expiring 3/31/2026, so trying to book a stay accordingly. Thank you!!

Which offer is expiring 3/31? The $100 off $600 or the $500 that comes with the SUB?

In either case, the answer to your first question is yes - a $600+ booking for an Edit hotel that is also part of the Select Hotels (including IHG) will qualify for a total of those $600 in credit. I don't recall if there was anyone on FT who posted a DP of that working but I definitely saw a few on Reddit.

It should be stackable with the $500 SUB offer but that is applied as a discount during booking so you need to do an $1100 booking for that one to kick in as well - you need to have $600 to charge to your card to get the other 3 credits so if $500 will come off up front, the booking has to be at least $1100.

Thank you! Super helpful information. The one expiring on 3/31 is the $100 off $600 so trying to take advantage and book now.

I have this same situation. But I never saw the $100 off $600 Chase Travel offer. How do you get it?

That was a targeted offer - if you open your Chase account under offers similar to the recent Whoop offer. I never received it, think it was a small percentage of card holders that got it and no way to get it if not offered to you.

FYI, not saying it will definitely happen, but I initially received the $100 off $600 with a 2/28 expiry, and at some point in late Feb? It seemed to ‘auto-extend to 3/31. So it’s possible, though not necessarily probable, that it could happen again.

Ah interesting, good to know and thanks for sharing!

For the Edit + IHG reservation: if I cancel, will the credit automatically reset? Or claw back both?

Also, regarding the Edit resort fee issue — (Chase is supposed to charge all fees upfront, but the hotel didn’t recognize it) Has that been resolved? or do I still need to call Chase afterward to request an adjustment?

If you used a 2026 credit (not 2025) to make the booking ; and then you cancel you should see the points come back right away (if used) and then the credit comes back 24-48 hours after the credit charge posts to your account. I done it twice and happened quickly both times. I waited until I saw it back before re-booking / trying to use the credits again to save a phone call. Above assumes the booking you made is within the free cancellation period when you cancel of course.

Resort / destination fees should be included. If you run into an issue and the hotel will not budge, yes you would have to call Chase while staying there or after your stay. This should not happen but I have heard of people having this problem. I have no planned stays for hotels with resort/destination fees so personally not worried about it.

Waiting is manadatory. If the credit isn't back, a phone call won't help.

credit will be available to use once it has posted back to the account. That should go for both.

can’t speak to general, but I was worried about resort fee issue for a stay in Feb, but it was not on hotel bill - so it was not an issue - was only charged by Chase.

Looking at booking a hotel for chase Edit, making 2 separate reservations for same dates. for a group trip for me and my buddies. This should trigger the chase edit credit. but will i get the benefits for both rooms? has anyone done this before? Should the reservations be under my name or can i make the other one be one of my other buddy?

I made a reservation only for someone else in their name and they received the benefits (I wasn't with them). It's usually better to put the name of the person actually staying in the room for ease of check in so that you don't have to be there at the same time as them.

Chase Travel is being really annoying today. I do a search and I see the hotel I want, but when I click through, I get "No rooms available." It doesn't seem to be a delayed inventory issue because it's been happening all day and it's the same no matter what dates I try.
