due date and closing statement date

I applied for the Chase ink preferred last week. Was approved on Feb 25th. Received card several days later.

My account is online. Due date is April 9, 2020.

Does anyone know how I figure the statement closing date?

I believe the closing date is three days after the due date. Someone will correct me if I'm mistaken.

I jumped in here to say that Chase has changed a due date for me with no questions asked when I requested the change be Secure Message. This might be useful to you or someone else if the due date is inconvenient.

The billing date for business cards seems to be 22 days before the due date. April 9 due date implies March 18 closing date. Verify with customer service if the exact date is critical.

This can be done using the self-service function on the website. No need to send an SM. However, be aware that the change does not become effective during the current billing cycle.

Yeah, business cards have shorter grace period than personal cards IIRC.

You can only request a change on closing date every 6 months I believe.

Thanks, mia. I hadn't known about the self-service function.
