Press Report:

Chase acquires GT Advanced amid their financial struggles and starts issuing the new Chase Sapphire GEM (create your own acronym). An innovative new credit card unlike anything the world has ever seen before. Made from a single sheet of clear sapphire, the GEM is the ultimate in prestige and cachet. Centurion owners will look on in envy as a GEM cardholder plunks down their (literally) Sapphire card making their own cards look cheap by comparison. With a mere annual fee of $5,000 it is at once more attainable yet more luxurious than the Centurion card with a straightforward earning structure of 2.5% back on everything with a minimum annual spend of $50,000.

Put a real Sapphire in your wallet.

Done:

Alliant Credit Union VISA, 3% cash 1st year, then 2.5%. Annual fee waived 1st year.
