Actual T&C language, as of 08.22.15:"Only the following types of non-ticket Net Purchases qualify for this offer: airline lounge day pass, or towards a yearly lounge membership of your choice; airline seat upgrades; airline baggage fees; in-flight internet/entertainment; in-flight meals; Global Entry fees."
As of 1/2/2015, Credit for these charges are based on TRANSACTION (purchase) date, not posting date. If you made an eligible purchase before the end of the year, even if it doesn't post until the following year, you can still receive credit for the previous year. See post #1268
DO NOT attempt to get all $300 in one transaction. Most CSRs will question what incedential charge would be so high. Instead, get multiple smaller gift cards which line up with fees that airline charges. Make sure that whatever amounts you choose, you have an explanation ready for each. For example, AA overweight baggage fee is $150. $50 is first checked bag for 2 ppl. $75 is in the range of upgrade fees, etc.

The deal for 140K points is dead. Chase has replaced it with a complimentary night stay at any Tier 1-4 Ritz-Carlton hotel after spending $2,000 in the first 3 months, available here. As of February 12, 2015, there IS A BETTER known public offer (see below).
The 70K offer is long gone.

Many have applied through this link only to find the application was assigned to a different promo for 2 free nights instead of points. Calling JP Morgan Chase CS has indicated they are aware of this issue and CSRs are expecting the 140k points to be honored but no one in this situation has actually received the 140k points as of Dec 28, 2014.

Side note - cheers to year 2 of the $300 travel credit! Just redeemed $29 to upgrade to an exit row on an international Delta flight last week. Saved my red eye sleep!
Sounds like the door is getting a little more narrow on award flight taxes? YMMV I guess.

Exactly! That's "change fees", I am not sure how she understood what I am saying, but the only comment she made is buying ticket is not qualified. the reason I am scared is if there's any misunderstood between the conversation, CSR will deny the reimbursement and make a note on my account.

If I spend $10,000 on my Ritz card, would I maintain Gold status for 2016 even if the card is cancelled in 2015?

In all cases I've seen from other cards, once you reach a status from the card benefit, it is good through the regular expiration date regardless of card cancellation. So whenever your Gold status would normally expire (someone else can chip in on that).

Anyone got reimbursed for $200 or $300 in Global entry fees? Or is it restricted to only 1 Global entry fee.

Looks like a lot of folks are selling their SW giftcards at a few online vendors. Supply was near 0 before year end and all of a sudden the sites are flooded with gift cards

The issue with the gold status for this card is the language in the T&C that talks about the 1st statement after the 1 year anniversary (I.e the 13 statement) to determine continuing gold status. In this case the person would not have a statement nor have an account in good standing.

2x$100 last year, 2x$100 this year.
I did call in advance to verify it would be reimbursed. I was assured it would, and didn't have issues with the reimbursement either time.
