My original pay-by date was shown as late July but I was actually able to request a new pay-by date at time of activation. My first cycle ended up being about 18 days vs. the original 40 days or so.

After 1st Billing Cycle (40days) --- Is there a way to cut the 1st billing cycle down?
The earliest he was able to move my Due Date was to 7/1 so my billing cycle will end on or around 7/5.
So I might be getting those points within 23-days
Keeping my figures crossed so I can book our trip to Hawaii in Sept

Great feedback, thanks saacman5033! Did you call and verify the bonus upon receipt/first use of card?

we have plenty of reports of people getting the promotion who had BA cards opened before 2011. We have yet to hear if someone who got the 100k points during the March/April 2011 promotion has been able to get the points again this time round. Anyone out there?

May be everyone is on the fence, like you, waiting for someone to confirm before jump in.

It's just simple - if you haven't received Avios bonus prior (previous British Airways points do not count), then you are eligible. I believe they switched to Avios since last November.

My odd data points...
I got the 100K BA card last year and cancelled in January. Approved for this new one on 5/24, made 1st purchase on 6/1, have due date of 7/1, and got my 50K a few days later.
My wife also had the 100K BA card but cancelled it in 2011, was approved for the new card on 5/16, made 1st purchase on 6/2, with due date of 7/6, and still no miles.

Has your statement issued and your wife's hasn't yet?
You can see if your statements have closed or not by clicking the Statement tab. You can also call the phone number at the back of the card and follow the prompt to get the true statement closing date.
