Applied Sunday for the 50k offer, sent a SM to Chase to get the 70k offer, received this response ^^^:
Dear [flyingmusicianlax],
Thank you for contacting Chase about your Marriott Rewards
credit card account.
Our records show that the application you submitted offers
50,000 enrollment bonus points if you exceed a spend
threshold of $1,000 within the first 3 months of opening
your account. After qualifying, please allow 6 to 8 weeks
for the bonus points to post to your Marriott Rewards
account.
I understand that you have since received another
enrollment offer for 70,000 rewards points if you exceed a
spend threshold of $1,000. As a gesture of our
commitment to you, once you have spent the required $1,000
we will honor the offer and issue an additional 20,000
points to the account. Simply call the number noted on
the back of your credit card once you have qualified and
we will be happy to process your request.
Please keep in mind that all enrollment incentives are
reserved for new Marriott Rewards credit card members
only. This means we reserve the right to withhold adding
any enrollment points if you have previously received them
on the same product on a previous date.
If you have any further questions, please reply using the
Secure Message Center.
Thank you,

Worked like a charm and was able to see the 70K page. Hopefully the offer will stand!

Awesome, my Mom just signed up for the 50k offer - I will help her send a secure message to Chase to get matched to the 70k offer. ^

I got the 70k with no free night upon account opening. Anyone call to match that? I'm asking because free night is issued by Marriott and not Chase.

I got the 70k offer too but Marriott never credit me my free night. Someone said if it's been less than 5 years since u signed up for a credit card they remember. And don't give you another free night.

Another data point
I applied on 5/8, called the reconsideration line on 5/9 to have my application processed faster, and was accepted. Confirmed the 70k point bonus.
70k point bonus after 1k spend in 3 months
cat 1-4 cert upon account approval
cat 1-5 cert each year on anniversary
1 elite night for every 3k spend

Verification Department
I applied for this card last night using the link and it was held due to the fact I had my credit report frozen. I completely forgot about that, so I thawed my credit, called the recon line back and they pulled report said everything looked good verified the bonus told me my credit line and put me on hold for another minute then said it had been sent over to verification and they coudn't finish it. They gave me an 877 number and said I could call on Monday between 8AM and 8PM. Anyone know why a card would go to verification? I have two existing cards with Chase in good standing and it seems like everything was A-OK when she first pulled up my report and put everything in the system.

Quite impressed with the new all metal card. Though I rather have the lighter plastic version so my wallet isn't weighted down.

Well, I applied and got a pending from Chase last week. Yesterday I received an e-mail from Marriott with the free 1 night cert and see that my elite level is now Silver. I'm assuming this is good news? I have always gotten instant approvals in the past and this is my first pending, so I was surprised to see I would find out from Marriott first before Chase. I'm hoping this means its an actual approval though. I'll wait and see.
