It's at the discretion of one's banker at the JPM PB.

As an example of Amex adding benefits to Plat/Cent, here is something (from our newsroom) that has recently become available:

American Express to Offer Free Boingo Wi-Fi Subscription to Members
American Express said it will provide Platinum and Centurion card members with a free subscription to Boingo.

The service, called the Boingo American Express Preferred Plan,....

Spouse United Club

Called to renew my spouse's membership. Was told the new fee was $250.

After three different reps and a chat with the marketing department, I was told the $50 fee was no longer being offered.

Just a fyi.

It's a shame! That I don't have a spouse

This does take away a bit of value from the card though, is lounge pass still available for AUs?

How recent was this? I just added my spousal card with $50 Pd special price in the beginning of May.

I didn't think this had anything to do with the Pd card. I thought it was just a United Club thing where you could upgrade to a spouse membership.

JP Morgan Palladium Card

It seemed that UC had a special price for spouse card with Pd. I called in to add and they quoted me $250, I said I've got Pd, shouldn't the price be $150? (This was what concierge told me), the rep came back and said that the special rate for Pd card is $50. And ask for a credit card number to charge the fee on. No need to be the Pd card. She did mention that this has to be done manually every year, unlike the main card that is set to auto renew.

It's faxed to priority lending... couple of days at most usually.

I am not able to find any mention of new enhancements. Any idea what they may be?

Thanks
