Uber in Costa Rica at LIR?
Was wondering if Uber operates for pickups from LIR?

When I go to LIR on the map, it gives me several vehicle options, as well as price quotes to various hotels, but no cars show available. Perhaps that's because it's 10pm..?

Or is the app just not set to block out ride requests from the airport?

Uber doesn't serve that area.

Ah, thanks!

I wonder why it still shows vehicle options and quotes for that area then...hmm

For now, Uber is pretty much San Jose-based. There are hopes and plans to expand, but there are no drivers who have signed on up in that part of the country.

With rentals out of LIR as cheap at $1 a day though...why not rent?
