For practical reasons, not for punishment, I assume ?

Banning HK flights would be the last to do, since that'll give a reverse integration message to the political opponents.

I’m thinking how firm is the CX operating schedule? Up to Nov and early Dec, I see a lot of DXB-HKG and HKG-SYD flights zeroed out.

I've been keeping an eye on zeroed out SYD-HKG flights in December for a few months now and haven't seen anything come back. I've seen far more get zeroed out instead, so I wouldn't be holding my breath.

There was nothing in the i-cable news that flights are departing understaffed.

CX would not risk the legal ramification of a flight departure without the legal minimum staffing.

Yah. Same here. Want to know before I buy some J tickets and if things go south and need to avoid any ridiculous restrictions and dumb entry rules.

I've done a few refunds recently (even with the fees, its been worth cancelling and rebooking on J to LHR) - last one was a week ago and I was refunded in 4 days
