Lounge Access Question
Hi everyone, first time flying CX, and have a general question about lounges.
I am flying F from JFK-HKG, followed by J from HKG-SIN in a 2-class regional 777. Flight numbers are CX841 and CX 711.
Question, which lounge should I be using? I know CX operates 4 different lounges, so naturally I am confused. Also, will I be entitled to use the F section of the lounge even though my onward jouney is in J? Is there any significant difference between the F and J sections?
Thanks!

You will be able to use the BA F lounge in JFK (CX doesn't have its own lounge), although some say the adjacent J lounge is nicer.
In Hong Kong you can officially use only the J sections of the lounges (The Wing or The Pier); some may say you should try to talk your way into the F lounge on the basis of your inbound, but I wouldn't rate your chances highly. The Wing is much more "open" feeling and the Pier is cosier. There's no difference in food or drink offerings between the two J lounges (the F lounges have a much nicer full buffet restaurant). I would generally use whichever is nearest my departing gate.

I read somewhere in this forum that passengers connecting from a CX long-haul F to a CX regional/short-haul J can also have accesses to the F lounges.
There are also cabanas in the Wing F section and daybreak rooms in the Pier F section.

thqu60 is departing in F anyway. The question was whether there will be enough time to use one of the F lounges.
