Thank you for your kind help.

I might have forgotten to mention that we are on TWO tickets.

Could I assume that for the TPE-HKG segment I can check in online and use that boarding pass?

Thank you.

you may. you could still access the transit desk as its just next to the transit security area in the B gates. the walk would still be the same if you do it at arrivals or departures (unless you want to see the hello kitty lounge without wanting to do any backtrack)

Scoot from Singapore to Incheon - transit in Taipei 1 hour

Hi,

I need help. I am taking this Scoot flight from Singapore to Incheon but there will be a 1 hour transit time in Taipei.

I have never been to Taipei Airport and not sure if the 1 hour transit time will be sufficient for me to alight from the Scoot and proceed with transit.

Can someone advise please. Thank you very much.

You are posting in the wrong forum, but I will take a stab at answering your question since I have done this flight before

At TPE, you basically deplane, go through transit security and rejoin the flight in the sterile area. There will be ground staff on hand to guide you so you should be well on schedule.

No checked in baggage right? If yes I don't see you making it.

I'm going to be doing a BR to CX transit at TPE on separate tickets next week. I will have only carry-on luggage. I'll need to obtain my boarding pass prior to clearing transfer security, is it possible to do this in T2?

For anybody who does need to go through immigration inTaipei I would like to warn that the lines have been brutal in the past few months. I have E-gate access but friends and family visiting have been stuck on long lines for anywhere between 30 minutes to almost 1 hour. so just a heads up.

Also departure security and passport lines have gotten much worse.

AFAIK, the CX transfer desk is available in T1 only. As such, you will need to proceed to T1 to obtain the boarding pass. But given that you do not have any check-in luggage, you can easily do online check-in and print out the CX boarding pass. When you arrive in T2 on BR, you can take the train from T2 to T1 and head straight to CX gate for boarding.

Thanks, I'm assuming the train is after security? I've done the landside transfer a few times at TPE between terminals, but never airside. My connection time is 2.5 hours.

Your other option is to walk from T2 to T1, given that you have 2.5 hours connection time. Still, conduct OLCI and have CX BP ready would be a good idea.

TPE has trains both on airside and landside.

Thanks, it went smoothly even with my inbound flight being delayed over an hour. I did OLCI and cleared security and just walked to the CX lounge had a quick snack and then proceeded to the gate.

I suppose TPE hasn't changed much since 2017, but would like to double-confirm on this.
Anyone familiar with TPE please kindly assist me.

I'm trying to get a back-to-back at TPE. my ticket is actually from CGK-HKG-TPE-HKG, HKG-CGK in business.
The current flight that i have on hand is CX406 from HKG to TPE (ETA 14:15), and then immediately CX467 from TPE (ETD 15:20) to HKG.
May I know if this is doable? many thanks!!!
