yes, I have an X60...have been forgetting about this too. but, does the latest kit that I can buy include that T/X60 adapter ? do I need to buy the whole kit, or can just buy just that adapter ?

It's really very annoying as well that CX keeps focussing on the 'power point' image in their how-great-our-new-seats-are demo when they know the points are unusable and have no idea when the problem will be fixed.

What are passengers meant to do on 12-13 hour flights? Only use their laptops for a couple of hours then find a place to recharge their batteries while waiting for connections?

How different is this from false advertising?

Yes except when they are proper AC ports.

well officially the new proper AC ports are called EmPower too if I remember correctly - but of course it doesn't require any EmPower kit/adapter anymore while the old DC ports would require one.
