Except in London where, as I have just discovered, CX offers complimentary limo service on all published First & Business fares including Round The World Fares... (but not including award fares, except that paid business mileage-upgraded to first would qualify presumably).

From CX UK website
Am not sure what "discounted fare" means.
From the link on this page
Eligible passengers must hold a published first class or business class ticket. A redemption ticket or any discounted fare is not eligible for this services.

Looks like VS is putting the heat on CX on the HKG route and this is their response (haven't checked VS pricing lately but their new Upper Class is quite a bit better than J on the competition (CX/QF/BA) on this route. Of course VS likes to price their J somewhere between J and F when they can get away with it.
Must give them a ring and see if I can.
OK just rang and that would be a NO. Any net discounted fare would not be eligible for transfers. The agent said that the fares to SYD from LHR that get the 'free' transfers are around 4K GBP ++.
He said some I class qualify and some don't so you can't just rely on the booking class.

As I read the above then all business and first RTW tickets (including the OW Explorer and Global Explorer) products should qualify. And no they do not have to be issued in the UK, or even, as far as I can tell, on CX ticket stock.

An amazingly generous offer by CX; BA LHR-HKG gets you the MB spa and a 10 minute massage (maybe, waitlists are often long), while CX on the same route gets you a limo worth circa GBP 90 (probably >10% of the DONEx revenue for that sector, to put the generosity into perspective).

Limo only offered for tickets originating LHR. It doesn't have service if you bought ticket ex-HKG unless your TA has special deals with CX.

In any case, has any one tried?

Bump. Anyone tried it with a non UK originating booking?
