Yes. Especially CX411. 1st flight looks like A321 while the last flight has the highest chance of lie-flat seats. I was hoping that this route is same with TYO that has guaranteed A350.

Hi all! I was wondering if anyone knows when the flight schedules will be updated with all the aircraft which are going to be running routes this winter? I am really frustrated at the moment because I want to book with CX, but I want to take a flight which has an A350 operating it, and at the moment it is all guesswork for passengers because all the aircraft on routes are only confirmed until the 27th of October, and after that all flights (except for a few key ones, such as flights to JFK and LAX), have the default aircraft (A330, A350-900, or A321neo) showing up as operating the flight in the CX flight schedule. To be clear, I cannot find the A350-1000 or the 777-300ER anywhere in the flight schedules beyond October 27 (except for the 777-300ER to LHR, JFK, and LAX). Usually this is updated across the board 3 months before the new schedule kicks in (October 27) but they still haven't done it. Any reasons why, and any clue when we will finally know which aircraft are really operating flights this winter?
Here is the link to the CX Flight Timetable Page: https://www.cathaypacific.com/cx/en_...timetable.html (Unfortunately since the latest update to the page, we cannot see which variant of aircraft (e.g. A350-900 or A350-1000) is operating each flight, so to check that you need a dummy booking, but this gives us a rough idea of the state of the schedule)

Tks

Possibly due to aircraft and staff constrains? Guess they wouldnt want the mass cancellation to happen again like earlier this year.
But I agree as an airline, having schedule fixed in advance is important in getting planes filled. Now that we always see skyrocketed prices when book in further advance, and deep discount for last minute tickets. Let alone the PEY issue on short haul as mentioned above. This is obviously not a sensible way to fill planes, and potentially damaging the reputation.

FWIW, the "seasonal" morning flight for PEN-HKG CX622 has been updated up to February.
I mention this because CX634 which is the afternoon flight is always available, but the morning flight is only loaded closer to the departure date. If CX622 has been loaded it "might" mean that the winter schedule has been updated.

It seems they have started updating the aircraft for the winter schedule. Here’s what I’ve noticed so far:
FRA on 77K now (quite a downgrade from last years 35K)
AKL 35K
SYD CX101/100 loaded as 777 throughout the winter schedule and as 77A on many days (so might get F seating albeit with J service).
many regional destinations have been updated as well, fortunately my BKK flight changed from 32N to 333
Further changes highly likely, LHR has two frequencies on the 777 with three remaining on the 350. Only 251/252 seems to be loaded as a 77A with F. That would mean that 253/254, which tradditionally had F, would lose it at the moment. That will probably change.
