Question on Status Point
Hi everyone! I am new to Cathay's status points.
I am now a Green with 70 status points, and they be will expired on 31 Aug 2014. I will have four more flights in July and August in the order:
My partner will take the second flight with me in July and her status points will also expire on 31 Aug 2024. Can she do anything to let her 105 points being counted in next membership year?
Thanks in advance!

Give them a call right after you reach 300 and tell the CS people to upgrade you to Silver.
After your 4th flight, use the Claim your missing status points on the CX website to get your 35 points back.

After your flight #3 and earning 35 points, you'll be at 315 status points and will be automatically upgraded to Silver (whether in July or August).
Your Flight #4 will automatically be credited to your new "silver" status.
Your partner can request for early membership renewal so the 105 points gets credited to the next membership year.

After my flights next month, I will already re-qualify for GO (thanks to the 200pts bonus), at 632pts. Should I already call in to reset my membership, which expires December? I don't think I will be able to reach DM or even use the bookable upgrades.

If you think you can comfortably renew GO next year, there's no point resetting and giving up 6 months of status.

I am currently a SL member having around 360 status points and the membership status expires Jun 2024
I would be having an itinerary ranging from late Jun to early July which would earn me 65 status points before the end of June and another 65 status points after June
As far as I am aware I would be having about 425 status points before my membership status expires, is it the case that my status point balance would be reset to zero after June?
Is there any way for me to credit the 170 status points for the next membership year, like removing the ffp link and claim the missing status points after the my membership status renewed as SL?
Thanks a lot
