I have seen increasingly number of 'newbie' members asking such questions because they bought whatever AA/AS status on Taobao.
This is the final warning to those smart guys: The taobao sellers use fake identities to match AA/AS and AA/AS do audit your accounts.
If you are smart enough to use these status on CX on a asiamiles redempted ticket, you will get greeted by [4020-00xx Your account is permanently banned] after the audit.

Or ask whoever granted you the DMP? Sounds like you never even been a SL/GO/DM before?

First of all, DMP is the 1% spenders within the DM cohort. With the amount of flying on CX metal, OP should be writing a guide instead of asking questions.

Logically it makes no sense for people to buy a shiny card. If you are flying a lot then you'll earn GO/DM organically. If you rarely fly, you've just spent hundreds if not thousands just for a shot at upgrades/ priority food/ DYKWIA. Even for the first-class lounge, I don't think the cabanas or the oven-reheated food is worth the risk of being banished by CX.

I don't fly that much, I got invited for diamond plus.

You know you get a lot more as DMP as opposed to OWE.

Disclaimer: Dated an DMP and got opuped to F many times as a result. The greeting you get is much more than what you would ask for, along with your 2 other questions.

The real question you should ask, is, were you given a bottle of bubbles to enjoy at home. I don't think anyone would divulge you of the answer, anyhow.

Wonder if OP is a troll? I would have expected CX to give him IN (Invitational) status if he is invited instead of DMP unless CX got rid of IN status?
