Flew last week from TPE to BKK in economy. Greeted both flights by the ISM and offered a bottle of water.

Can threads like this start in the newbie thread?
In addition, a simple search can yield all the answers.

I have seen increasingly number of 'newbie' members asking such questions because they bought whatever AA/AS status on Taobao.
This is the final warning to those smart guys: The taobao sellers use fake identities to match AA/AS and AA/AS do audit your accounts.
If you are smart enough to use these status on CX on a asiamiles redempted ticket, you will get greeted by [4020-00xx Your account is permanently banned] after the audit.

Good luck.

Not just Taobao.
There are a few other marketplaces, Not just China.
Actions have been taken to prompt thorough audit to AS, and AA.

I can tell you some sellers even try to encourage repeated purchases once the first trial period runs out.
If any of you are interested in consolidating the proof of these sellers from other marketplaces, please PM and I will be glad to provide information in question.

Yes. Pretty sure if they are surgeons they are willing to sell their organs.

In fact, ISM herself forgot my drinks while serving food, and I had to remind the other pursuers again.

They also rarely go through the aisle now — had to use the call button more often.

Flew QR back in March in Y with OWE and the crew still did greetings.

Return flight was the same with a different crew/ISM.

Greetings usually after belt sign off and offered the meal (when in Y).
Priorty meal selection - yes. After the greeting
water while boarding - no.
If in business - it’s business as usual as they will greet you no matter what.

percysmith Where is the table you made earlier? I think it's time to make it into Excel and pin it.

That was a very comprehensive unofficial summary to everyone's benefit
