Yes my Oneworld Emerald status (Alaska MVP100K) was acknowledged on all flights so far - in both business and economy.
My meal orders were always taken first, along with CX diamond.

However, on 77A (4 class) sold as three class, I was denied access to the first class cabin. I was told by Taipei staffs that only CX MPO DIAMOND members can be seated in first class cabin now on those flights sold without first class. My flight ended up with maybe 2 or 3 passengers in first class cabin along with an off duty pilot.

However, CX treats Oneworld Emerald members pretty well.

Yes, I've heard of the first class cabins for flights without first class sold is reserved for CX MPC Diamond members only. Service and food will be business class, but you get the nice cocoon seat.

CX treats oneworld emeralds extremely well, especially on board. OWE's from other airlines are often shocked at how well they are treated vs on their "home" airline.

So must be no problem for Cathay Diamond Plus Invitation (OP).

I think Cathay Diamond Plus Invitations and Prem de la Cremes should be allowed to co-pilot the flight

Let me guess.....you don't stay at Marriott much, and never rented at Hertz before either?

There's another guy bragging about similar thing on a facebook group.
Apparently they know nothing about OneWorld FF programs but they are at the top tier.

Out of curiosity (haven't actually flown on other OW airlines for a while) - how are OWE's treated on say BA economy/PE? Presumably not the same vis-a-vis OWE on CX.

JL doesnt even greet its own junior OWEs (Premiers)

No greetings on BA/AA/AS (Ive heard this is inconsistent - some OWEs do get it)/QF/AY

I am greeted in QR but that is perhaps because I am in J or F

MH does greet OWEs own and partner even in Y

So you do NOT hold Cathay Pacific Diamond plus status or a card issued by Cathay Pacific Correct ?

This is the final warning to those smart guys: The taobao sellers use fake identities to match AA/AS and AA/AS do audit your accounts.
If you are smart enough to use these status on CX on a asiamiles redempted ticket, you will get greeted by [4020-00xx Your account is permanently banned] after the audit.
.
woah people can just buy status off Taobao?
how does that work? seems pretty daft!

I've certainly been greeted when I was one on JL. And on BA it's fairly rare to be greeted - more likely if you're doing a turnaround or sth so they actually remember you.

However, do I want to be greeted - no. I just want to get to my destination, and if they are greeting me just as a formality, i have no interest in spending time for that. If that is a part of providing me a better service for the rest of the flight then I can play along.

(Hilton isn't the only company whose status are being told on TB, obviously)
