It happened to me last year. Membership supposed to reset end of Dec. I had a flight mid-Dec and a few days before flying, I noticed my membership year was reset early. Nice my mid-Dec trip got credited towards the new membership year.

Any recent experiences of requesting an Early reset? Specifically, do they still do it and, if so, how long does it take for them to reset the membership year?
Have flights early December that get me to the Club Points I want to have, in this year. Have another set of flights end-December that I want to bank in the next membership year. While removing the frequent flier number (& claiming in 2024) is an option, I won't mind having the status linked higher lounge access.

Thank you! Was that something CX did of its own volition, or, based on your request? Curious about the latter case, like these threads:
Does MPC still allow early reset after programme changes?
and
CP beyond 1800, proceed or restart?

But wait -- what if I were aiming for the bookable upgrades, and the flight that would push me over that threshold is on Dec 11? They wouldn't reset BEFORE then, right? In this case, I need the points this year!
