Membership Reset

My membership year resets at the end of Dec and i have flights booked around Xmas that I would like to credit towards 2023.

anyone knows if CX will reset earlier in December?

It happened to me last year. Membership supposed to reset end of Dec. I had a flight mid-Dec and a few days before flying, I noticed my membership year was reset early. Nice my mid-Dec trip got credited towards the new membership year.

Any recent experiences of requesting an Early reset? Specifically, do they still do it and, if so, how long does it take for them to reset the membership year?

Have flights early December that get me to the Club Points I want to have, in this year. Have another set of flights end-December that I want to bank in the next membership year. While removing the frequent flier number (& claiming in 2024) is an option, I won't mind having the status linked higher lounge access.

I know my status reset on Dec 11 or 12 last year.

Thank you! Was that something CX did of it’s own volition, or, based on your request? Curious about the latter case, like these threads:

In my case, the reset happened mid Dec last year even though membership year will until Dec 31, hence the moot point for this thread and me doing a KUL-SIN run this Sunday to book myself across 600 points before being reset.

But wait -- what if I were aiming for the bookable upgrades, and the flight that would push me over that threshold is on Dec 11? They wouldn't reset BEFORE then, right? In this case, I need the points this year!

you wont know when they reset. Do a mileage run this weekend if it matters to you

Anyone having fairly recent data points on early reset? I am wondering how long it takes now after the request has been made.

It should be immediate if you call them.
