Flying as a group - able to earn points?
Hi all, I will be flying as a group (with my school) on Qantas once (very soon), and Qatar once later this year. I won't have access to the reservation numbers/PNRs but will it be possible for ground staff to add my CX membership to the ticket if I present my membership card at check-in? Thanks in advance!

I was able to get seat selection, extra bag and lounge on CX operated flight booked as a discounted group.

Thanks for the reply! Was just concerned on whether check-in staff would be able to do so.

Just letting you know QF/QR check-in staff should be able to add your CX FF number (or, alternatively, your school's travel agent can help do that in advance), but QF/QR check-in staff will not know whether the ticket earns miles or not. The system will accept your CX number regardless. If the ticket class is not found at https://www.asiamiles.com/en/earn-mi...qantas-airways and https://www.asiamiles.com/en/earn-mi.../qatar-airways, respectively, it will not earn miles. For QR, G class (usually but not always used for group bookings) has 25% earning rate, so likely you will be able to earn miles, but not QF.
