Just letting you know QF/QR check-in staff should be able to add your CX FF number (or, alternatively, your school's travel agent can help do that in advance), but QF/QR check-in staff will not know whether the ticket earns miles or not. The system will accept your CX number regardless. If the ticket class is not found at https://www.asiamiles.com/en/earn-mi...qantas-airways and https://www.asiamiles.com/en/earn-mi.../qatar-airways, respectively, it will not earn miles. For QR, G class (usually but not always used for group bookings) has 25% earning rate, so likely you will be able to earn miles, but not QF.
