And for Business pax in east gates, they should use The Deck's showers https://www.cathaypacific.com/cx/en_...he-deck-shower ?

There is change on the way at HKG that will add at least one new lounge.
The terminal expansion and redevelopment are ongoing and both Cathay and the Airport Authority on record as saying that there will be a new and additional Cathay lounge and also very possibly a new Cathayarrivals lounge.
As I recall djsflynn eluded also to this in a post on this forum some time ago.

However, since then I hear that CX is leaning against re-establishing an Arrivals lounge.

Hello the Deck
I don't think there is enough love here for the Deck. As a lowly Sapphire you get to retreat here after stopping at the Qantas lounge for coleslaw and cheesecake. With self pour champagne and the same menu as the more crowded Pier or Wing, this is a great option to settle in al fresco with a great view of the new Bridge to Somewhere(TM).
Self pour wines. No judging looks from bartenders
Sunset cocktail corner available from breakfast
Views of the new aerobridge

The Deck's a lovely little lounge, isn't it? I'm Oneworld Emerald and still quite happy to swing by there in the right circumstances. And these days it's a lot less crowded compared to before The Wing Business reopened.

This lounge is perhaps the best imitative that Qantas has actually achieved in a wile - I like it but it is a great pity that the airline is serving the city just once a day with an old warn A 330.
Are they serious re serving HK or happy to give the traffic to Cathay ?
Self pour champagne with at least 4 choices at The Wing of course

For OWE has to be Pier First Day Room https://onemileatatime.com/insights/...t_class_lounge
If OWS there's also a pretty good nap area in the far end of the lounge, past the tea room/shower area.I used it for a quick hour or two shuteye - wish more lounges had these.

How's Pier J these days? Planning a trip to Asia. It's either a transfer through HND or HKG.
Last I visited Pier J was a tad before the world shut down. I see some recent pictures on Google reviews but thought I ask here. TIA.
