In-town check-in after work, then getting a drink, before a night flight used to be a big reason why many corporate travelers raved about the whole infrastructure set up. While 6am to 3pm is better than nothing it seems like the return to "normal" is still in process. |

I wonder why they are still only opening it till 3pm. Staffing issues?
I suppose the drinks/dinner in town case is less. In any case, pax can slightly rearrange their day to use the ITCI. |
6am to 3pm is exactly one shift.
Most HKers who flies out during the evening will drop off before going to the office in the morning. |
If I drop-off in afternoon the day before flight and go home then take train to go to airport the following morning will I be charge twice if I use the same Octopus cards ?

Once. You’ll be charged once for going into the ITCI area, and then you will have one ride quota on the AEL for that day (whether you choose to take it or not).

Lockers near ITCI?
Planning to use ITCI Sunday am before our evening flight and lunch/shop/sightsee etc - wondered if there are functioning/plentiful coin lockers for hand luggage etc nearby?
Thanks in advance :) |

How about if it is not the same day but within 24 hours ( afternoon drop-off of bag but going to airport next day morning ) ?

I'm flying on a 2-segment ticket that is CX > CI (award ticket issued by QF).
Would the ITCI CX staff be able to issue my BP for both flights? Or should I just check-in at HKG? From reading online I haven't seen if where you check-in influences interline eligibility? |
CX check-in at HK station is the same as at the airport. So whatever they can do at the airport they can do at HK Station. CX, being a proper airline, has interline agreements with most other proper airlines (including CI). So I don't see an issue here.

Anyone have any insight into whether BA will likely rejoin ITCI? Flying back to LHR with BA on October 1st and would be great to use ITCI if I could to get rid of my bag.
On a different note, but may as well ask, my OWE is about to expire end of October… having never been in HKG when I had any OW status I’m keen to go to the airport well ahead of my 2320 flight to lounge hop, and especially spend a lot of time in Pier F. So my Q is: will I be able to enter security and immigration with my boarding (on my phone) whenever I want on the date of flying? Or will I only be granted access to security within X hours of departure ? If ITCI isn’t open for BA by then it’s no big deal as my bag is suitable for carryon. Would just be nice to get it checked on if possible |

Recently I have accompany a smart colleague who interpreted CX524 flight time 0120 as 1320 and asked what to do at HK Station in the morning. They told him 'If you wish to fly to Tokyo, please travel to airport and ask there'. |
Well yes, but that's a ticketing question not a check-in question. I guess the ticketing office at HK Station hasn't reopened yet (but that's just a guess).
