CX MIAT Codeshare
Hello CXers,
I'm planning to visit Ulaanbaatar in June from Hong Kong. MIAT operates the HKG-UBN route, and CX codeshares on this route
The price difference is about HK$1,000 more for the CX codeshare. Other than gaining minimal status points (16 round trip) and Asia Miles (1,600 round trip), are there any other benefits for me paying the extra HK$1,000?

Hi OP - just want to check if you ended up flying and if CX credited you with the miles for the codeshare? Also if you don't mind sharing the approximate cost of your ticket too. Just looking at this itin for next year. Thanks.

I have not flown this specific route, but all CX-coded flights (not including ferries, buses, etc.) earn status points and AM (provided eligible class), whether operated by CX, oneworld, or non-oneworld carriers.
