Haven’t been to the CX lounge since the re-opening, but my recent experience at the BA lounge lasted about 2 minutes to take one lap around (completely packed) and then head straight out and over to the AC in T1.
Would have been really nice if the CX lounge was open in early evening like before.

Answering my own question.
Midday buffet is mostly the same as the evening buffet except the sandwich was a sausage and cheese biscuit and there was also scrambled eggs on offer. Lounge closed promptly at 11am on Sunday.

Unfortunately CX lounge is the best. There's also JAL lounge which is worse. On the odd days that CX flight (CX879) departs during the day you can also check out the JAL lounge since both of JL flights to NRT (JL57) and HND (JL1) depart around the same time as CX879.
