Booking Code

Hi, is there any possibility of seeing the booking code when making a booking on the CX website? I'm trying to avoid the "P" fare as I am crediting my flights to BA. Many thanks

IIRC, fares higher than Business Light will book into D C J class.

The old version of the website used to list the fare basis on the final checkout/payment page, when one clicked on the fare rules.

Perhaps, lookup expertflyer for the itinerary and the base fare amount to be sure?

many thanks for the inputs! You can still see the fare class if you book via the app. The flights I was looking at would book into the "P" bucket which seems to be the "Essential" fare. Still puzzles me that BA awards miles and status points for the cheaper I (Light fare) but none for P.

That is an issue with BA.
And given the poor relation between CX and BA, neither airline has an incentive to change it.
