Booking Code
Hi, is there any possibility of seeing the booking code when making a booking on the CX website? I'm trying to avoid the "P" fare as I am crediting my flights to BA. Many thanks

IIRC, fares higher than Business Light will book into D C J class.

The old version of the website used to list the fare basis on the final checkout/payment page, when one clicked on the fare rules.
Perhaps, lookup expertflyer for the itinerary and the base fare amount to be sure? |
many thanks for the inputs! You can still see the fare class if you book via the app. The flights I was looking at would book into the "P" bucket which seems to be the "Essential" fare. Still puzzles me that BA awards miles and status points for the cheaper I (Light fare) but none for P.

And given the poor relation between CX and BA, neither airline has an incentive to change it. |
