Early check in at SIN
I have an upcoming flight on Jan 8 and just wondering if I can check in for CX716 when check in for CX2690 is open. I have a lunch appointment at the airport.

I am interested in answer to that question also in my case I wish to visit Jewel before flight so will be nice if I can deposit luggage early.

I thought SIN T4 was largely automated self checkin so would not be an issue? But FWIW, I used to check in at SYD for an early-arvo CX flight when the checkin counters were open for the mid-morning departure, so hopefully not an issue for you either way. A shame the CX SIN lounge has yet to reopen...

You are right. The Blossoms lounge is a shithouse compared to CXs own outfit. Plugs were not working in some of their seats and the food is as good as econ fare. I asked about the lounge and ground staff have no idea on the reopening date. Time to drop the SIN sales team an email.

T4 check in and bag drop is no problem for the later evening flights. Would definitely recommend taking the shuttle to t1 for the QF lounge, Blossom lounge is what it is a contract lounge that gets the job done for credit card holders but does not hold a candle to a proper business class or F lounge
