CX March / April Schedule

I intend to book a flight on CX to Tokyo for connection to US in March / April 2021.

Anyone has a clue on when CX will load their updated flight schedules for March / April?

At present, 2 flights to Haneda and 2 flights to Narita are bookable.

PS: anyone knows the minimum connection time in Tokyo? Without CX505 but only CX521, it seems difficult to find possible connection from US to Hong Kong via Tokyo Narita.

Are connections through Japan possible atm? I think Taiwan completely stopped transfers, at least for foreigners.

japan.has gone from foreigner all welcome attitued all last year to suddenly taking U turn banning all sorts of outsiders just recently

even if cx schedules are loaded you are mercy of flip flop japanese policy, so i would think carefully.

current flights scheduled for March/April are just placeholders. Most will not fly.
The best indication is to look at the flights currently operating. Only CX520 operates 3 weekly.

Rules change rapidly and usually for the worse. It is unclear if you can transit on two separate tickets.
This forum is not the best place to ask about transit in NRT.

It is possible atm to transit HND/NRT without any test requirements, as long as you don't stay overnight for NRT. however, this information is based on connecting with the same tickets, looking at the current state I suggest against booking separate tickets with connection, better book one single ticket for all your journey for simplicity and peace of mind.

I don't think that is correct, unless they have changed the rule from last year.
You cannot transit between NRT and HND as it involves entering Japan.

After rereading your post, I now think that you mean transit at NRT or transit at HND, but not between NRT and HND.

This question is not answerable unless you tell us which flight you want to transfer to.

Possible since CX will through-tag, but I also recommend against it. See NRT terminal transfer

I want to fly JL007 (Boston to Tokyo) which arrives Tokyo at 16:25, connecting CX521 leaving Tokyo at 17:15 (50 minutes connection), in a single ticket. It seems like CX is now allowing me to book this, though the minimum connection time in Tokyo for same terminal transfer in 45 minutes.

If I am reading it right ExpertFlyer says 1.30 MCT for T2-T2 connections from JL to CX at NRT. I would not book a 50 min connection there even if CX will (probably erroneously) allow you to book it. Why not take the later CX505 flight? Or, if you trust CX not to cancel, the non-stop BOS-HKG (available starting near the end of March)?

You cannot connect to CX521. It is below MCT. I'm surprised if CX would allow you to book it. That looks like a bug if coming from the website. You need to take CX505, assuming it is operating.
