AM 10%/15% bonus for transfers from credit cards in Jan 2021

Rehash of https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/cath...cards-jan.html

202012_Finance_PointsConv_TnC_EN.pdf (asiamiles.com)
Missus and niece got theirs, mother and I haven't gotten ours yet. I'm checking with AM to see if all members get this (awaiting call back)

Is it just me or Cathay hasn't been releasing as many award seats as before, at least for non-status members like me? They used to release seats as far as 360 days in advance but now it's only around 300 days in advance.

What's the point of keeping releasing schedules CX has no way of knowing whether it will fly? I doubt that CX knows what schedule it will fly 100 days in advance.

If you're talking about November onward, you will notice there are no cash seats either for any date past end of October because they haven't loaded their winter schedule. Up until Oct 30th they were releasing award seats at the calendar open on routes I monitor, like YYZ-HKG, SIN-HKG, HKG-SFO. I have no reason to believe it was different for any other routes.

I understand that POV but I would personally argue the opposite. The further out you go the more likely it is that your planes will actually fly. There is no value in preventing people from giving you money as they plan holidays on the assumption that COVID-19 will be "over" by next winter.

No offer here by the way.

Haven’t seen it. US member with ~51k AM in my account, some of it transferred. I’d like it because a Oneworld J award with multiple airlines as a RTW is realistic for me in May-June 2022. Right now I would scrape into the 165k band, an extra 15% would pull me into the 185k band by the time I book it.

Thanks for the link, but after I managed to open the link, complete the details to register then when I press 'submit' nothing seems to happen.

For me this is an attractive offer as I earn my Asia Miles purely by AMEX spend. Perhaps I am just missing something
