Ticket purchase via AA?

Purchased a ticket via AA, included a leg on AA, then CX, but CX says never actually ticketed, so canceled the portion of the leg on them (was actually a KA leg). AA confirmed that it was ticketed, and simply re-added the flight to the PNR. What do you guys think happened?

Ask AA to reissue the ticket after adding the segment back, this way KA should receive the ticket number

Unsynchronisation between Sabre (the system used by AA) and Amadeus (the system used by CX and KA). Either ask AA to re-issue as @shd9 suggested, or ask AA to re-entre the ticket number, if they are able to, using the command "7T-TK001xxxxxxxxxx„Ny.x," where xxxxxxxxxx is the ticket number (AA tickets always start with 001) and y.x is the passenger number, if there are more than one passenger in the PNR. Either way, you should then call CX to confirm if the ticket number is in.
