Opening BEA Savings account (regardless of Supreme Gold, Supreme (needs keeping HK$100000) or i-Account) is the ONLY way, but need to keep at LEAST HK$5000 in the BEA Account.
I opened BEA Supreme Gold account (by depositing HK$500000) for annual fee waiver. (but can opt for Upgrade from BEA Flyer World Master to BEA Supreme Gold World Master)

What does the Supreme Gold World Flyer offer that the regular BEA World Flyer doesn't?

The $300 airport transfer doesn't seem to be limited to the SupremeGold version, or is it that you get fewer trips at that discounted rate?

On the first few lines in the PDF above:
"The BEA Flyer World Mastercard and the Hong Kong Racehorse Owners Association World Mastercard are excluded from this privilege."

Question American Express Membership Rewards® Turbo program

''For just HK$240 per year (this program annual fee will continue to apply on your next Membership Rewards renewal date, except for American Express Platinum Card), you can earn 2 points for every HK$1 spent on anything at anytime, anywhere & on an ongoing basis. You can transfer your points to redeem Frequent Traveler Program as well as to redeem any regular rewards stated under the Basic Program.''

Is it worth the HK$240 annual fee?

It replaces 939. Does the $5,000 threshhold sound familiar?

Also, even if CCB has the budget to release 939 somewhere between now and the end of the year, it will have to write a whole lot of new terms stopping double-earning.

Just saw on my statement that I've been charged for the Mileage Programme Fee on my HSBC Visa Platinum twice this year -- once in April and once in August. I thought this was an annual fee and not one charged for every mileage redemption. Should I call to have it waived?

If you have some non-World points with BEA (e.g. from Visa Signature dining), today's the final day to convert non-World points to HKExpress Reward-U, which will then roll into AM at the end of 2019.

Conversion is 16 non-World BEA points --> 8 Reward-U points --> 1 Asia Mile

Given the cash value of each non-World BEA point is $0.004 (as cash rebate), this values each AM at $0.064 in cash rebate opportunity cost.

https://assets.reward-u.com/media/18..._formatted.pdf

P.S. (per FAQ) enrolment of Reward-U ceased 20 August 2019.

Shouldn't it be 15/9 instead of 20/8 for BEA transfer to Reward-U? It says this:

You’ll be able to earn reward-U Points from BEA, CNCBI and Regal Hotels for a slightly longer period – on or before 15 September 2019.

15 Sep is HK Express's deadline for accepting points from BEA

BEA terminated conversion of Reward-U points on 26 Aug (I checked my Cyberbanking account - already in effect. I cannot convert the 160k Overseas BEA Days Apr-Jun points I received this morning)
