CX.com isn't recognizing OW Ruby?

I put in my QR Silver number, and it seems like not recognizing it. No where appeared anything like OneWorld Ruby or something like that.
I also read that AA gold is not recognizable on CX.com?
It is just weird to see it not on the website, I am flying J so as long as the points goes into my account, it so not a big deal. For passenger flying Y, this is probably a big deal.
Anyone having the same problem?

I didn't think Ruby was something tracked around OneWorld, even though it has a name. I thought only Sapphire and Emerald were recognized systemwide. Ruby is a name, but I wasn't aware the systems of other airlines could recognize it.

When I was SL the AA system successfully traced my ruby status after I booked the ticket online. So I guess that's down to CX's IT?

interesting, I didn't know that. I must admit my knowledge on this subject is only based on what I read in FT! And it was a long time ago, I might be remembering the wrong thing

I don't think this is correct. Some airlines like AA actually give OW Ruby status passengers decent benefits, like one free checked bag.

Believe that RUBY is tracked

My daughters BA Bronze (OWR) certainly prints on the BP and should get free seat selection

A free checked bag is standard with virtually every non-LCC airline outside the US so it's not much of a benefit.

I was just thinking about this, I am OW emerald and I am only showing 2 bags allowed in MMB but the website says I should get three. Should I call them or is it an IT issue and will have no problems at the airport?

Ruby is tracked, and I can confirm that this has been the case for at least 10 years. In all AA PNRs, if the passenger has Ruby status, the first or second line of the PNR will say "* RUBY *" (likewise for SPHs and EMDs). For Amadeus carriers (all oneworld carriers except AA, LA and their affiliates, not sure about S7), the SSR (Special Service Request) line for frequent flyer membership will read something like, taking my own example, "*SSR FQTV BA HK/ CX1xxxxxxxxx RUBY/SL."

sxc is correct. BA is non-LCC, but free checked bag is not a standard for their HBO fare.
