Premium Economy on 2 cabin flight

First time booking in R class, so sorry for the newbie question.

I am booked in R on Premium Economy long haul but B class for regional HKG-BKK return.

Since there are only 2 cabins on the regional flight, am I stuck in Economy or do they upgrade this to business?

I am MPS if it matters.

Regards

Sometimes I got I class for a long-haul to regional when booked on R long haul, but sometimes I got B class. It was quite random. However, if I got B, they wouldn't change mine to I. I usually don't care the class of service for a 2-3 hour flight.

What is MPS? Do you mean MPC? Your MPC status does not matter unless it comes to an operational/birthday/milestone upgrade.

So the upgrade is random then. I have been upgraded at the boarding gate occasionally on this route flying V class. Those times were booked as an economy ticket. This time booked as Premium Economy Flex R/B So that's why I was wondering.

Upgrade at boarding gate are usually just op-ups, nothing to do with that your B class is a result of a 2-class equipment in conjunction to a PEY.

Depending on the fare. Some fares allow you to book in I class (business) for the intra-Asia sector, but others don't.

B Class books into Economy. So You are stuck in Economy. No Business for you.
